Our School Council comprises eleven children from Class Two to Class Six. We meet each half term to discuss current issues in the school and to suggest ideas for fundraising events to help raise funds for school and for different charities. This involves  discussing ways we can improve the school environment and thinking about how we can help our local community and the wider world. The School Council helps carry out and advertise (creating posters) charity events that the school holds each year. Some popular events that have been held include regular cake sales and fancy dress days. School Council are also eager to look after the school environment  (litter picking). Members of the School Council also have the chance to support peers (Buddying) at playtimes and through Sports Competitions. School Council is asked to lead Collective Worship linked to current issues or celebrations.
