Our Collective Worship Committee comprises of ten children, two children from each class (from Class Two to Class Six). We meet each half term to discuss current issues relating to Collective Worship in our school. This may involve discussing what is working well in Collective Worship and what we would like to develop. The Collective Worship Committee plan and deliver their own Collective Worship each half term and also play a key role in each Collective Worship. They lead the greeting at the beginning of Collective Worship and the prayer and blessing at the end. The passion and enthusiasm demonstrated by our committee members helps to ensure that Collective Worship is a powerful opportunity for our school community to come together to worship the Lord in a meaningful and age-appropriate manner. The Collective Worship Committee have had a significant impact on Collective Worship within our school by giving children a sense of ownership over their own worship.
