St John’s Church of England Voluntary Aided Junior and Infant School is situated in a pleasant residential area to the north of the city centre of Wakefield. Our vision of 'Growing together, becoming all that we are created to be' is rooted in the parable of 'The Mustard Seed' where children, staff and our school community can flourish and reach their individual potential.  'Though it is the smallest of all seeds, when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.'
